You can access non-visual commands by right clicking on the equivalent toolbar button. For example, right click Scale to see non-visual scale.
NON VISUAL edit commands allow you to move, scale, rotate and otherwise change the position and shape of selected entities, without displaying a dynamic cursor. While you can turn off dynamic cusrors on the normal editing commands, but this is not normallyt desireable, as non-visual editing is usually an occasional choice. They are useful when you know exactly what scale, angle or position you want to use. They are also useful in macros.
