This is a text-only command.
Type the text equivalent at the command prompt to add a Network
ADD TO lets you add new spans to an existing network. Any span added to a network becomes part of that network.
To add a new networkl to an existing network, select [Draw > Networks > Add to]:
The prompt reads "Pick existing network [new]:". With the pick cursor, select the existing network you wish to expand.
If no network currently exists, or if you wish to create a new network, you may instead right-click. A right-click will cause the command to continue as the regular WALL command.
The prompt reads "1st corner:". Use the mouse to select the point on the selected network. MID and EPT modifiers will work for selection. If you "eyeball" the point, CC3 automatically snaps to the nearest point within four pixels within the pick box.
The prompt reads "Next corner:". Use the mouse to select the next point, completing the span. When you do, note that the new wall breaks and trims as necessary to form a clean intersection with the existing wall network.
The prompt reads "Next corner:". You can continue drawing additional spans. Because the spans are part of the existing network, all intersections with the selected network are automatically cleaned up. Whenever you are done adding walls, right-click and select Done from the Networks popup menu .
Because you are adding to an existing network, the new networks will disregard your current property setting and instead use those of the selected network instead. Such properties include color, line style, fill style, layer, etc.
