Select the entities to stretch. Usually, you will enclose the points to be moved in a selection rectangle (window)

The prompt reads "Stretch window:". Click points to form a selection rectangle around the nodes you want to move.
The prompt reads "Move from:". Click a start point for the move.
CC3 displays a rubber-band cursor anchored at the move from point.
The prompt reads "to:". Select a point to indicate the distance and direction you want the points in the window to move.
CC3 moves the endpoints that were inside the stretch window, leaving other endpoints where they were.
Stretch is very useful for reshaping coastlines, especially those that have been or are going to be fractalised.
There is a non-visual version of stretch, if you know the exact angle of rotation. Right-click Move, Scale, Rotate and click Non-Visual Stretch
You can also use it to connect corridors to other corridors, or to rooms.
Use the Ortho button to lock the cursor vertically or horizontally.
