Click Rotate to rotate entities.
Rotate allows you to rotate entites visually, optionally aligning them to another entitiy.
Select the entities you wish to rotate.

The prompt reads "Rotate Reference point:"
Click a point around which to rotate the entities. Press SHIFT to snap the angle of rotation to the nearest 15°.
The prompt reads "SHIFT=15° Snap [align to object]:"
To align to another entity, right click. Click the edge on your selection you wish to align. Click an edge on another entity you wish to align to. The command finishes.
Click to complete the rotation.
The TAB key will make the cursor redraw faster. The fast draw mode is remembered between commands, so remember to turn it off if you need to.
The appearance of the cursor is determined by the current cursor options. Right click on Move, Scale, Rotate then click Cursor Options to change this.
There is a non-visual version of rotate, if you know the exact angle of rotation. Right-click Rotate and click Non-Visual Rotate.
The current rotation is shown on the tracking indicator.
